Frequently Asked Questions
1
How long does the ceramic coating process take?
The process typically takes 1 to 2 days, depending on your vehicle’s condition and the level of prep required. This includes a full exterior decontamination, a paint enhancement polish (if needed), and the application and curing of the coating. We’ll always give you a clear timeline before we begin.
2
What’s the difference between ceramic and graphene coatings?
Both coatings offer strong protection, deep gloss, and hydrophobic performance. Graphene coatings are a newer technology that provide higher durability, better chemical resistance, and improved heat dispersion, making them ideal for long-term protection (up to 5+ years). Ceramic coatings typically offer 2–3 years of excellent protection with a lower upfront investment.
3
Does ceramic coating protect against scratches?
Ceramic and graphene coatings offer some resistance to light scratches and swirl marks, especially from washing and daily wear. However, they are not bulletproof or scratch-proof. The coating acts as a sacrificial layer, helping protect your clear coat from minor abrasions, but sharp objects, rocks, or improper washing can still cause damage. For best results, always use safe wash methods — we’re happy to show you how!
